ZK, your current AOKP is much improved over previous versions. I see it pretty much the same way you insofar as it's much better, but not yet quite up to your Blur standard.

Zkk007 did you used wifi almost all the time? My og RAZR can't do that long on blur still...

Yes, this time I did mainly use WiFi since I was at home most of the day. I haven't used tasker or any other battery saving apps though

any way to make this a zip like they do in the flying jelly rom directions for there safestrap images

Do the images have the correct name and are they .png files? Is so, download again and try. The files may have been corrupt. Let me know how you get on!

yes they have the correct name and are .png files.  I downloaded twice now.  Once from tapatalk and once from the web.  but still can not get it to work, the original ones work (good thing I saved a backup copy of both files Ex. background-safe.png.bak).

Are the ones you downloaded 540x960 resolution? Check out the image properties.

How do you check?
I downloaded the ones you provided. Only size I can find is the file size in properties.

If using ES file explorer, hold on the file, then select more, then properties. I'm not 100% sure if the post shows the image in its true resolution. If its not, I can upload the files in dev host.

Hey zkk007 i didn't notice this until now, I'm wondering why is it that if i turn off phone to charge at night time...the power off charging splash screen will charge to 100% then i turn on phone and usually have 40-60% of charge depending how low phone was when i turned it off? I tried using battery calibration app from play store. It calibrated and i let battery run down then charge to full to set it correctly and no luck

What is your CPU usage time? Click on "Android OS." How long ago did you flash or reboot?

That's a good question. I haven't come across that before. (I'm assuming you're on AOKP?) Are you switching between ROMs at all? I'll power off and change tonight and see if it happens to me.

Can you get CPU spy from the app store and see what your deep sleep time is like?

Just for comparison, I'm at 16hrs with 25min CPU time.

Try letting the battery discharge fully then without powering on, charge fully (about 35-40 min after it shows 100%) with a wall charger and without using the calibration app... it should reset the battery stats....

Lol, already have it and I was just messing around and "Reset Timers" so will have to wait to report back... sigh, I forget what percentage was deep sleep but there was a reading there.
