Hey guys, new to the forum and with all the exciting news i may be trading my GS3 for a HD or Maxx HD today or in the next day or so. I got a few questions...
I know if the device is a 4.1.2 without root you are SOL until then, but can you fastboot back to 4.0.4 and then VooDoo to regain root and OTA from there, and then unlock bootloader?
Will the Dev Version TWRP or CWM work with this, or are we waiting for a fresh compile?
pardon my noob-ness, im fairly familiar with the whole process but every phone is different. Always liked moto hardware, very happy for this,

Nope there is currently no downgrading from 4.1.2

With a locked device you can't downgrade to an older version of Android.

Nope there is currently no downgrading from 4.1.2
damn...might have to hold off on my trade until we get a 4.1.2 root then. Waiting to see if the guy that has it updated it or not.

lol he doesnt have the razr hd, but does have an atrix hd, almost same os and stuff. plus matt likes scripts better haha

I have already installed the latest TWRP and it seems to work fine except non of the past ROMs load except CM ROMs
