The first to in the updater script, both lines will say assert in them unless I removed them before I uploaded the final package.

Downloaded 8/16 build. Those assert lines aren't there. Still won't flash. Downloaded older versions, removed asserts, still won't flash. Can't find an option in twrp to disable md5 check for installing, just backup. I have no clue... I have to be missing something. The first to in the updater script, both lines will say assert in them unless I removed them before I uploaded the final package.

I would say try on twrp 2.5 as I can't replicate the issue.

Tried on 2.5 first. Didn't flash, so re-read your thread & saw you said update recovery. I've tried on TWRP 2.5, 2.6, and cwm.I would say try on twrp 2.5 as I can't replicate the issue.

Help!! I've tried flashing every possible version of PA I can find for xt926. EVERY ONE OF THEM hangs when flashing. "Checking md5sum. Skipping md5 check. No md5 file found." Then nothing. I've tried every possible (I think) mount/don't mount, wipe/don't wipe combo. I'm on a RAZR Maxx HD, rooted, unlocked, running Vanilla Rootbox.

I know that system has to be mounted for most stock roms, but it needs to remain unmounted for for aosp rom flashes. I don't know if this helps any, but hey... I'm on the toilet and figured I'd try to do something constructive.

Really? I didn't know that, maybe that's why when I tried flashing the xenonhd rom it kept failing. Thanks for that info though, I was under the impression you always had to mount system. When I wipe before my next flash should I also wipe system since I've been mounting it?

I don't think wiping system is necessary. I also don't know the reasons for having to mount or unmount for different rom versions, I just saw someone else mention it and it seems to hold true.

I've noticed that the overflow settings button is missing from several apps (gallery, play store, etc...). I can easily permanently add the menu button to the navbar as a solution, but there is usually a setting somewhere to force the in-app settings overflow button... am I missing this setting somewhere? (On PA 3.69 8/16)

cj360, you should be proud of the stability and battery life of this rom. It's really great!

PSA: Don't download the 4.3 version of the rom in the download folder. It's not finished yet AKA It won't boot.

Unless I say otherwise the 4.3 builds are present alpha especially since ATM its a battle to get it to boot or when it does its full of FCS.
